Biography

Ay Instincts is a multi-talented artiste with exceptional skills in delivering superb afropop music to his audience. His duo group, The Black Instincts was famous with the song “Baba Ti Gbo Adura Mi”.

Adepoju Ayotunde Ibraheem is a graduate of Electrical Engineering from The Polytechnic, Ibadan. In the year 2003, Ay instincts and his cousin, “Jayeoba Abayomi Bamidele” also known as JayB instincts formed a duo Afropop group, “The Black Instincts”. The Black instincts rocked the higher institutions in the south Western Nigeria with superb performances.

The great DJ Jimmy Jat once confirmed Ay instincts would make it big in the Music industry when he saw Ay instincts’ performance at the Zain Tru search competition where he was among the finalists.

The Black Instincts performed on the same stage with Seun Kuti, Tu Baba, 9ice, Pasuma, The Artquake, etc. The group is well known with their single, “Baba Ti Gbo Adura Mi” which gained massive airplay across the nation.

In the year 2018, Ay instincts decided to release a solo single, “Ayami ni” — an Afrocentric music written to celebrate love at wedding ceremonies and other events. The song enjoyed massive airplay across Nigeria.

Ay instincts still actively thrills his audience across the world with good and conscious music. He promises to keep giving more.
