Diddy has been tapped to executively produce Burna Boy’s forthcoming album, ‘Twice As Tall.’
The new LP which is a continuation of what Burna started (building a bridge that leads every Black person in the world to come together), was mostly recorded during the pandemic.
Burna and Diddy — real name Sean Combs — managed to collaborate over an eight-hour time difference via file transfers and Zoom calls. Diddy was able to create voice-over intros for some of the tracks and added musical and contributions from artists such as Anderson .Paak and Timbaland.
The album which was 80 percent completed before Diddy was brought in to provide “fresh ears”, is described as “a modern but pure, unapologetic African body of work”. ‘Twice As Tall’ arrives August 13th!
