Burna Boy Nabs Grammy Nomination In The ‘Best Global Music Album’ Category
Burna Boy may have just gotten his second chance at finally wrapping his arms around the prestigious Grammy gong which depicts a gilded gramophone.
Today, the excitement — following the announcement of the nominees — soared to new heights as the committee revealed Burna Boy alongside Antibalas, Bebel Gilberto, Anoushka Shankar and Tinariwen in the ‘Best Global Music Album’ category (same one Burna lost to Angelique Kidjo this year).
The industry’s brightest stars will align to shine at the event, which will boast performances from the creme de la creme.
The self-acclaimed ‘African Giant’ fans will be hopeful the Nigerian singer win this time at the 63rd annual edition set to air January 31, 2021.
