Davido Sets New Record As His 2017 Smash-Hit Song ‘Fall’ Goes Gold In USA
Davido‘s quest to break music boundaries, set new record(s) continues as the DMW boss adds yet another accolade to his closet.
Barely a week after his 2017 smash hit single ‘Fall’ was declared Gold in Canada, the multiple award-winning singer has just landed another one.

Moments ago, Davido announced on his official Twitter page that the same song has gone Gold in United States, just as he had predicted when the Canada news came in — a feat which makes him the first Nigerian artist to achieve.
‘Fall’ going Gold means the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) has certified that the song has sold over 500,000 units. It should be noted that 1 Unit means 10 permanent track downloads (ITunes, etc) or 1,500 on-demand audio streams.
