Already the most nominated female act in GRAMMY history (with 79 nods), Bey began the 2021 GRAMMY night with 24 trophies to her name.
After an early win in the ‘Best Music Video’ category for her inspirational ‘Brown Skin Girl’ visual, Bey collected an additional 3 trophies in Best Rap Song (for ‘Savage’), Best Rap Performance (for ‘Savage’), and Best R&B Performance (for ‘Black Parade’) categories over the night.
The new golden gramophones make her the most GRAMMY-awarded singer in history. Now tied with legendary super-producer Quincy Jones at 28 wins, only the late composer Georg Solti has more (31 wins).
