Did You Know: Ikechukwu Was The First Rapper To Appear ‘Jimmy Jump Off’?

Oluwaforijimi Adewale Amu popularly known as DJ Jimmy Jatt, held one of the best solo show over the years called ‘Jimmy’s Jump Off’, where he hosted a number of artistes — especially rappers — to showcase their rap skills on assigned instrumentals.

Started in June 2008, the event which became one of the most attended entertainment events in Nigeria, first hosted rapper Ikechukwu on the show where he showcased his rap skills for over 4 minutes.

Mode 9, M.I Abaga, Ruggedman, Dagrin, are amongst the first set of rappers who graced the show.
