Did You Know: ‘Party In The USA’ Is Miley Cyrus’ First Ever Diamond-Certified Hit?
Miley Cyrus recently reached a career milestone after earning her first-ever Diamond award from the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) for her smash ‘Party In The USA’. Her Diamond status means she has an equivalent sales of 10 million units in the United States.
With the new certification, the Jessie J-written song released in 2010, joins the list of less than 50 songs to ever be certified Diamond.
Cyrus now joins the likes of Katy Perry, Bruno Mars, Ed Sheeran, Lady Gaga and more who have received the coveted achievement.
