The multiple award-winning gospel artiste and songwriter became the first African and arguably the first black person to rank at number one on the Christian Songwriters’ category of the USA Billboard — for her song ‘Way Maker.‘
According to a data released late MAY, the 47-year-old Nigerian born singer dominated the chart for ten consecutive weeks with over 250 million streams — thanks to various versions of the song that contributed to the stat.
With over 148 million views, ‘Way Maker’ official video is currently the third most-streamed song in Nigeria only behind Davido‘s “Fall” and Yemi Alade‘s “Johnny“.
