Before he became a wild, daring and unapologetic singer, Terry G was once a quite, wannabe who combed the streets of Lagos for opportunities.

Respected photographer Shola Animashaun, while sharing a room with former Plantashun Boiz star, Faze at Globacom campus tour, suggested the singer hire Terry G as backup act and he bought the idea.

Terry G, born Gabriel Oche Amanyi, lived and traveled with Faze for the next two years, recording and performing.
