Did You Know? Tiwa Savage Co-wrote Fantasia’s Grammy Nominated Album

Tiwa Savage’s 2009 publishing deal with Sony/ATV Music Publishing allowed her to write for the likes of Baby Face, Kat Deluna, Monica, Mya and Fantasia.

She co-wrote a track — ‘Collard Greens & Cornbread’ — off Fantasia’s third studio album, ‘Back To Me’ which earned the American recording artiste 2010 Grammy nomination in ‘Best R&B Album’ category.

However, this counters a report that the former Mavin Queen equivalently got a Grammy nomination herself for the contribution on the track. The Grammy rules for that category only awards to artiste, producer and engineer/mixer.
