History Today: Davido Released His Gold-Certified Single “Fall”
Today, June 2, marks the third year anniversary to one of Davido‘s biggest singles of all time, ‘Fall.’
Released as the second single from his second studio album, ‘A Good Time,’ — ‘Fall’ was one of the top-100-most-Shazam-searched singles in America in January 2019. In February 2019, ‘Fall’ – which peaked at #13 – became the longest charting Nigerian pop song in Billboard history after 21 weeks on chart.
It was recently certified GOLD in Canada and United States of America by Recording Industry Association of America after selling over 500,000 units.
