History Today: Olamide Released His Fourth Studio Album, ‘Street OT’
November 14 marks the 6th year anniversary of Olamide’s fourth studio album, Street OT.
Preceded by hot singles like ‘Story for the gods’ and ‘Goons Mi’, the LP — which serves as the follow-up to his 2013 ‘Baddest Guy Ever Liveth’ — featured guest appearances from Pasuma, Don Jazzy, Reminisce, Phyno, just to mention a few.
The project whose ideology behind the title is to glorify and show Olamide’s love for the streets, won ‘Album of the Year’ and was nominated for ‘Best Rap Album’ at The Headies 2015. It was also nominated for ‘Album of the Year at the 2015 Nigeria Entertainment Awards.
