History Today: Wizkid Released His Breakthrough Single, ‘Holla At Your Boy’ 10 Years Ago
Today marks the 10th year anniversary of Wizkid’s breakthrough single, Holla At Your Boy.
Released 2010, the song served as the lead single to his debut studio album, ‘Superstar’ — one of the highly rated albums of 2011.
The DJ Klem and Vebee-produced cut earned Wizkid the Next Rated award at The Headies 2011. The music video was nominated for Most Gifted Newconer Video at the 2011 Channel O Music Video Awards as well as Best Afro Pop Video at the 2011 Nigeria Music Video Awards (NMVA)
