Lady Gaga & Ariana Grande’s “Rain On Me” Certified Platinum
Coming on the heels of making history as the first all-female collaboration to debut at #1 on the Billboard Hot 100, Lady Gaga and Ariana Grande’s chart-topping duet has added yet another win.
August 28 saw the BloodPop-produced song certified Platinum by RIAA — denoting Stateside sales equivalence of 1 million.
‘Rain On Me’ which was released as the second single from Gaga’s latest album, ‘Chromatica,’ is the first tune from the LP to earn a certification.
The duet has also helped both Gaga and Grande to lead the nomination tally of the 2020 MTV Video Music Awards with nine mentions respectively.
