‘Power Book II: Ghost’ Kicks Off With Solid Ratings

The 50 Cent & Courtney A. Kemp’s newest incarnation, ‘Power Book II: Ghost’ roared onto screens on Sunday to pick up where it left off nearly 7 months after the original series ‘Power’ ended.
Led by Michael Rainey Jr. (Tariq) with new faces Method Man and Mary J. Blige, the new series proved just how much its devoted fans couldn’t wait to get a taste of the spinoff.
Premiered September 6, the show came on with a solid start with a #1 placement among all scripted series for STARZ, thanks to its 680,000 viewers.
With all other forms of programming considered (reality, news, sports, etc.), it ranked #7 – a feat all the more noteworthy considering STARZ is a premium network going head to head with the likes of more widely available cable outlets.
