Terry Apala Speaks On If He’s Getting Enough Response From Music Fans With His Distinct Style Of Music

Terry Apala is known for his distinct style of music, ‘Apala Hip Hop’ — a sound many have grown to fall in-love with since he did a cover to Ed Sheeran‘s hit single, “Shape of You“.
In recent time however, it seems attention have been drawn away from his style of music, with the likes of Fireboy DML, Joeboy, Ckay, etc, changing the music direction. This has over the years, made Terry’s music under-appreciated because people are leaning more towards new sounds.
Speaking with HEP on if he’s getting enough response from music fans with his distinct style of music, the “No Sege” singer attributed the reduction in listeners to his sound to the rapid interest in circular vibes:
“Not getting enough [response] though. The industry is filled with circular vibes — Shaku Shaku vibes and all. With time, I believe we’re getting there.”
He also told us about his forthcoming album which will be titled “Aare the Album”
