What are the songs making rounds on your playlist?
HEP has selected the best 10 songs from hundreds of releases buzzing right now, plus an extra three bonus tracks credited under ‘HEP RECO’ (formerly HEP PICKS). We believe this 13-tracks playlist is worth listening to in the new month as June 2020 edition.
We’re sharing what our music critic team believes should be making rounds on all playlists across the world.

10. Doja Cat ft Nicki Minaj – Say So (Remix): Following the healthy global chart presence of the original version, Cat linked up with Nicki Minaj to make a remix which went on to pounce on number #1 on Billboard Hot 100. ‘Say So Remix’ returns for the second time following its debut in May edition.
9. Rema – Ginger Me: The Mavin Records/Jonzing World’s signee returned after the huge success of his 2020 debut single – ‘Beamer‘, a chart topper that lock top music charts down form weeks with over 7 million views for it music video on Youtube within 3 month of release. This new one tagged “Ginger Me” is a soul, pop, Afro-Indie record making its debut on our countdown.
8. Omah Lay – You: This guy has been disturbing the airwaves in recent times with number of singles from him taking turns on music charts across Africa. One of his releases, ‘You’ makes its debut on our countdown for June edition.
7. Fireboy DML – New York City Girl: He has managed to cement his place as one of the brightest new stars in the Nigerian music industry. He is already taking steps to introduce his sound to a wider audience especially American listeners. His new record released few days ago makes its debut as we look forward to seeing him back here next month.
6. DaBaby ft Roddy Rich – Rockstar: This is not the first time DaBaby is appearing on our countdown, the American rapper made its debut on our countdown back in April with the same record — and now finds himself returning after successfully garnering more listeners.
5. Simi – Duduke: The song which is still making rounds on almost all charts and playlists in Nigeria, makes its third entry into our countdown. ‘Duduke’ is a song dedicated to Simi and Adekunle Gold’s child, Adejare. The couple recently welcomed their first child in the US.
4. Wande Coal – Again: This song was released back in February but somehow, it’s just getting the attention of music listeners. We all know Wande’s potential, so we need to say little on how good this song sounds.
3. Burna Boy – Wonderful: The introduction to this song alone is enough to captivate all ears that are open to good music. The Grammy-nominated Nigerian artiste once again shows his versatility in the song we believe will make its way up to top charts across Africa in no time. ‘Wonderful’ which was released last week, makes its debut on our countdown.
2. Megan Thee Stallion ft Beyonce – Savage (Remix): Released late April, Megan and Beyonce sprung a surprise on masses with the remix of the hotly listened to single. The duet made it to number one on Billboard Hot 200 making it Beyonce’s seventh and Megan’s first on the reign. ‘Savage Remix’ returns for the second time back-to-back on our countdown.
1. Kizz Daniel – Ada: Prior to the release of his hotly anticipated album, ‘King of Love’ (KOL), Kizz Daniel has been teasing this particular song, and people seems to have grown interest in the song especially with the custom dance steps that accompanied it. ‘Ada’ which is a mid-tempo song by the versatile artiste and songwriter, makes its debut on our countdown.

Master KG ft Burna Boy & Nomcembo Zikode – Jerusalema (Remix): The original version of this song debuted on our countdown back in March and made its return in April. Tapping Nigeria’s very own Burna, Master KG revamped the widely listened to song to give it a new feel. This is one good vibe we recommend you to listen to!
Skiibii ft Reekado Banks – Banger: As it seems, Skiibii do trust Reeky on his record! The pair who have previously collaborated on two different singles before, links up to roll out a new one they call ‘Banger’ – an upbeat song that will keep you vibing all through its scantily delivered lyrics.
Lady Gaga ft Ariana Grande – Rain On Me: Off her recently released studio album, ‘Chromatica’, Lady Gaga tapped chart-topping artiste Ariana Grande on the record “Rain On Me”. The song which is a pairing of two Pop’s most potent forces, is already climbing it’s way up on the official music charts
