Travis Scott Makes Billboard History Following #1 Debut With ‘Franchise’

Travis Scott landed atop the Billboard Hot 100 on Monday with new single, ‘Franchise’ and made history in the process.
The American rapper managed to fend off fierce competition from BTS’ ‘Dynamite’ to launch in pole position on the coveted count with the track which features Young Thug and M.I.A.
While it serves as the MC’s fourth total Hot 100 #1, it’s his third to debut at the top in less than a year (alongside singles ‘The Scotts’ and ‘Highest in the Room’) — a new record for the fastest accumulation of three #1 debuts by any act in the history of the Hot 100.
‘Franchise’ becomes Young Thug second Hot 100 #1 and M.I.A’s first.
