Wizkid & Burna Boy Make History As “Ginger” Becomes First #1 On Turntable Top 50 Charts
Wizkid is not stopping at reaching new heights with his recently released fourth studio album, “Made In Lagos”, thanks to an overwhelming amount of reception.
Last week saw a number of history made with the LP, and now, it continues to verify the commercial impact.
The Burna Boy-assisted fan favorite, “Ginger” made history as the first #1 song on the inaugural edition of TurnTable’s Top 50 chart — an authoritative representation of the most popular songs in Nigeria, compiling numbers from radio airplay across 54 stations, TV airplay and all-genre freemium streaming platforms.
As if that isn’t enough, all 14 tracks on ‘MIL’ made it to this week’s chart with “Blessed”, “Ginger”, “Reckless” and “No Stress” all in the top 10.
