Wizkid Joins Beyonce On Updated ‘Brown Skin Girl’ Grammy Nomination
Following the 2021 Grammy nomination list released in November by the Recording Academy, many were quick to notice the absence of Wizkid’s name from Beyonce’s ‘Brown Skin Girl’ video nomination despite being credited as a featured artiste — an omission that didn’t sit well with his FC.
A recent update on the Grammy website has however, added Starboy to join Queen Bey and her daughter, Blue Ivy, on the nomination which initially only featured Beyonce.
Someone who still didn’t find his name on the nomination is SAINt JHN, because he didn’t appear on the music video despite writing and having vocal contribution on the track.
The correction which was made December 11, gives Wizzy a chance to win the coveted award come January 31.
