Wizkid Scores Second #2 On Billboard World Albums With ‘Made In Lagos’

Daddy Yo has just nabbed his second top 2 effort on the Billboard World Albums Chart with ‘Made In Lagos’.

Released October 31st, the LP was supported by several singles, including ‘Ginger’ featuring Burna Boy and ‘Smile’ featuring H.E.R. ‘MIL’ peaked at #2 on World Albums (same position S.F.T.O.S debuted in) — coming behind Ariana Grande’s ‘Positions’ — and #80 on Billboard 200.

The album benefited largely from streaming with over 100 million streams recorded in first 8 days after release.

Despite the encouraging debut positions, it is however noteworthy that Burna Boy’s “Twice As Tall” album did much better having debuted #1 on World Albums and #54 on Billboard 200.
