Wizkid and Tems have been building momentum with their collaborative track, “Essence” for the past few months, and now, the effort has finally paid off as they find their song amongst the top 100 songs in the world.
Debuting at #82, ‘Essence’ becomes the first Nigerian song to make the Billboard Hot 100.
The song marks Wizkid’s third appearance on the chart following his debut with 2016’s ‘One Dance’ with Drake. Tems on the other hand nabbed her first with the Afrobeats track.
#YouCanDoItToo: Aside the good music it emits — which is continuously attracting more listeners by the day — The consistency on the promotion of this song clearly played a major role in the emergence on the Chart.
Promote that song too, it’s not only for your ears!
